So much fusty people and Ford Haters there ... Can't wait to see the new GT kick all this ass :)
Seating really some of these reasons are ridiculous and all is we need to know is
You can't afford one
Complaining about fuel efficiency in a $400,000 supercar is laughable. Besides, nobody cares. Go drive something else if you don't like the Ford GT, but for God's sake shut up with the constant whining.
engine is not supercar status.. and that claim by Ford about power to weight most likely means the original engine they were going to put in there wasn't ready.
I think the operative word in item #1 is "targeting". Perhaps that was the charter .. or ever stretch goal of the program.
At least Ford got the Focus RS and the 350R right.
What Auto Show is this?
the actual problem with ford gt is that anyone who has a camera and a YouTube channel is an instant expert now a days. :D
And the motor in the race car is actually 3.9L not the 3.5 in the GT!
the best power-to-weight ratio in its class not on the road
it's a great car and very successful race car
I think the Lotus Exige had closer seats.
That's one of the ugliest (and laziest) interior designs I've ever seen. Not just for a supercar, but for any car.
U are fucking stupid
And seriously, at this price, you can get a 488 GTB for fun AND an Alfa Quadrifoglio as a daily.
People just need to understand that having a smaller engine doesn't mean having a lower fuel consumption. The laws of physics never change. The amount of work required to accelerate an object to 60 mph in 3 seconds will not change no matter the object is powered by a pathetic V6 (yes, spending 400k on a V6 is f**king nuts) or a glorious V10 or V12.
If it sounds too good to be true it must be false. Anytime there is a new technology break through or new system first rule of thumb is there's bound to be problems for the car it's just true. 2017 Ford GT sounded too good to be true and I wonder why. Sorry lads it is what it is. I hope Ford Steps up and fixes the problem and fixes the problem other wise the GT will no longer be in production again and Ford sales will drop greatly because of this. Sorry guys it's just true. Anyone remember that old adage, win on Sunday sell on Monday from the Muscle car era? I know many people don't love Muscle cars/ classics or what have you but having good principles are.
