wow,his talk was fascinating and I agree with other comments that he should do a TED or other podcasts about life!:)
Walk benefit help smart sex agenda with test.
That last bit about certainty is really intriguing.
It is good to question sometimes, but Mary never doubted too much when an angel appeared and told her she would concieve the Son of God
I am not a person of faith, but that was one of the most beautiful descriptions of faith and it's relationship with doubt and scepticism I have ever heard :)
It's taken me too long to get round to his newest lot of interviews but damn he is such an intelligent man, you can tell this is him talking too not Hollywood, he's himself which is brilliant to see same as Emma Stone, 2 actors in excellent films atm & ofc they have an amazing connection, Andrew looks wonderful too, glad he's back on his feet after the Spiderman sacking, never felt that was his fault either, he & Stone were the best thing about both films, never felt it was the cast's fault that especially the second film was messy, it was Sony & the writing imo
He's a young person and he's talking like this, that's amazing.
What a beautiful man. I am so happy for him and I admire him so much more after seeing this interview.
Jesus Christ is GOD! Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6)
I don't think it's certainty that we should afraid of. I like the idea of faith with doubt, and that does sound rather healthy to me. Kierkegaard said it best, " faith is a fruit of inner desperation." but if someone is convinced that Christ died so all men may be saved, I don't think that's intrinsically harmful. Rather, I think certainty at the expense of others, or indifference to the conscience of others, is what really starts wars. After all, it is possible to kill on behalf a religion your doubting, and you could also choose not kill someone over something you know is right. Too often we hear the same rhetoric, and there's a REAL reason behind it, but i think its slightly misplaced.
seems like such a good dude
So refreshing these deep conversations at simple shows such as talk shows. I'm glad Garfield took this role and made this personal dive and now is talking about it.
I just love how deep and thought-provoking this interview is. I have always liked Andrew Garfield for his looks, but damn, I have so much respect for him now. I wish there are more interviews like this!
I love how Stephen listens to him and doesnt interrupt Andrew. He gives his guests time to talk and express what they have to say without cracking a joke in the middle of what his guests are trying to portray. Much respect for that
with that face, tho. Andrew should have been stupid, but damn.
Ugh, missionaries. How better the world would be without agents spreading lies and delusions to the naive. Its one thing to harbor your own beliefs, its another to indoctrinate others in order to affirm your own waning faith. Cultism, all religion is cultism.
He's a nice person, I can see that. But I can also see that he is full of shit. That dime spirituality and pseudo philosophy is just good enough to impress silly girls. I guess actors have to be such people, otherwise he wouldn't be so successful.
Such a great interview wow
This is an extremely deep and complex topic (which I enjoyed hearing him talk about), but it felt a bit awkward at some point because you always expect some sort of joke in that Talk Show interview. Which is why I felt the end was too abrupt.
Though Stephen Colbert is probably one of the few Talk Show hosts, who can handle such important topics.
That was a weird interview
