Back Ground of Future Boyfriend: In the spring of 2014, FUTURE BOYFRIEND, a one-act play by A.Vincent Ularich, was accepted to the first annual science fiction one-act play festival in Los Angeles called Sci-Fest. Ron Morehouse and Emily Bell were asked to play the roles of Stuart and Kaylie and became fast friends. Soon after opening night, people started to comment on what a great concept for a TV series or film the show would be, and thus the idea to shoot it as a short film was born. Emily and Ron created BellHouse Productions and soon a fantastic team started to form. Future Boyfriend premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and went on to screen at 15 top festivals winning the audience choice award for Best Short at the Pensacaon Film Festival. Bell-House Productions continues to produce shorts, web series, and features. Bell-House's web series Hill Yes is on Amazon Prime and their next short, a zombie romcom, Deep Dish Apocalypse will be hitting the festival circuit soon!

After the woman left, I thought the plot twist is gonna be that the guy is some kind of agent that travels back in time to alter the lives of people by giving them this shocking experience of seeing their sad future. The actual ending turned out to be less sci-fi and more like a romantic thing. Still a neat idea though.

I'm pleasantly satisfied I didn't skip this video whilst checking my subscriptions.

Besides the glaring plot holes and question left unanswered, one just has to appreciate how a simple story unfolds. And the emotions, jeez. From awkward, weird, disbelief, shock, anger, uncertainty to humor at the end. It is a bit cliche, but I do want to follow their story afterwards.

Wait, what? If they change the future and start dating/fucking then he won't be born as himself. He'd be someone different as he'd technically be his new own stepson as his "original" future self that exists before time traveling backwards. Basically he's never be born at all and this alternate time-traveled reality would cease to exist at all.

This is some basic Back To The Future level shit, people... You know: "Erased from existence!" ??? Jesus Christ... get your plotholes filled in.
